PERSONAL STATEMENT
Although I paint many other areas as well, I have spent a lot of time painting on location in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. The naturalist, John Muir, called these mountains “The Range of Light," and they are spectacular. I travel to the high country and paint that light as often as possible.
I support environmental groups, such as the Nature Conservancy, the Audubon Society and Save Mount Diablo, in their efforts to preserve and/or restore the natural landscape.
